It's playoff time, and Buchanan had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Homestead Mustangs 3-0 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Bears sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

While Buchanan won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-21, 25-22.

Buchanan found their leader in sophomore Penny Garcia, who had nine digs and two aces. Garcia has been hot, having also posted 15 or more assists the last five times she's played.

Buchanan was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last six matchups.

Buchanan's win bumped their record up to 36-8. As for Homestead, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 26-9.

Coming up, Buchanan will host Campolindo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Homestead does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
