Volleyball Recap: Virginia City Takes a Loss

Virginia City kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Spanish Springs Cougars.

The win made it two in a row for Spanish Springs and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Virginia City will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Excel Christian at 5:00 p.m. on September 19. As for Spanish Springs, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Yerington on the 22nd.
