Basketball Recap: Keaton Hord's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Campbellsville over Metcalfe County

Campbellsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 70-55 to the Metcalfe County Hornets. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Campbellsville lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Keaton Hord, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cayton Lawhorn, who posted 13 points.

Campbellsville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Metcalfe County, their win bumped their record up to 8-15.
