Basketball Recap: Lutheran Beats Lewis-Palmer for Their Fourth Straight Win

Lutheran won the last time they faced Lewis-Palmer and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lutheran Lions enjoyed a cozy 53-36 victory over the Lewis-Palmer Rangers. The Lions pushed the score to 41-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rangers cut but never quite recovered from.

Lutheran's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Berkley Schneider led the charge by putting up 11 points along with seven boards and three blocks. What's more, Schneider also posted a 57% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in February of 2024. Gia Genovese was another key player, earning 12 points.

When it comes to explaining why Lewis-Palmer lost, don't look at Rylee Edmondson. Despite the final result, she went 7 for 15 en route to 18 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Addison Kenley, who posted eight points.

The win (which was Lutheran's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-8. As for Lewis-Palmer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.
