Basketball Recap: Bucksport Takes a Loss

Bucksport lost against Dexter on January 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bucksport Golden Bucks took a blow against the Dexter Tigers, falling 53-21. The game marked the Golden Bucks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Bucksport and nudges their season record down to 9-6. As for Dexter, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bucksport has already played their next game (against George Stevens Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Dexter will face off against Orono at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
