Basketball Recap: Elmwood Takes a Loss

Elmwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 41-29 to the Farmington Farmers. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Farmers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Elmwood's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Farmington, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-11.

Elmwood will be playing at home against Peoria Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Peoria Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Elmwood surely won't give up without a fight. Farmington has already played their next game, a 75-33 win against Knoxville on the 25th.
