In what's become a running theme this season, Mulberry gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They never let the Kathleen Red Devils onto the board and left with an 18-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for Mulberry who now have four in a row.
Laura Robinson looked comfortable as she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk).
At the plate, Mulberry got a massive performance out of Brianna Eichlin, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Eichlin continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Gracie Danforth, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.
Mulberry's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Kathleen, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with that loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.
