6-Man District 2 (6 Man) recap October 22, 2013

Hondo extended the longest winning streak in 6-Man District 2 (6 Man) this week by beating Roy/Wagon Mound, 49-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Eagles.

Animas took down New Mexico School for the Deaf 73-20 last week, the largest margin of any game.

The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Hondo and the Panthers. Brandon Devine's team comes into the matchup ranked third in the state, while Animas ranks 13th.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Eagles take on Richard Winkler's team. Hondo has allowed 126 points this season, while the Panthers have given up 251. The Eagles allowed 0 points last week as they topped the Longhorns.

Animas led the league in scoring this week by notching 73 points on the Roadrunners.
