Football Recap: Strong Effort on D from Josiah Rubidoux and Ethan Valencia Leads Colfax over Bear River + How To Watch

After losing to Bear River the last time they met, Colfax decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Falcons walked away with a 45-34 victory over the Bruins on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Colfax didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Josiah Rubidoux and Ethan Valencia. Rubidoux also hauled in two receiving touchdowns, which is notable because Colfax is 2-1 when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns, but 1-4 otherwise.

Bear River's loss came despite strong showings from Sean Kinney and Jayden Brock. Kinney rushed for 85 yards and a pair of TDs, while Brock threw for 135 yards and three touchdowns. Kinney also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making four total tackles.

Colfax's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Bear River, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
