Volleyball Recap: Chapel Hill Takes a Loss

Chapel Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Pine Tree Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16, 25-13.

Chapel Hill's record now sits at 5-25. As for Pine Tree, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Chapel Hill is set to square off against their familiar foe Henderson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pine Tree will challenge rival Carthage at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
