Baseball Recap: Chaminade Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Chaminade and Crespi, and Crespi kept the tradition alive. The Eagles fell 9-4 to the Celts on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 5-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Isaiah Hearn made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Chaminade's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Crespi, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-2.

While Chaminade had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
