Romulus skates past Garden City with ease

The Romulus Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 78-10 victory over Garden City. Considering Romulus has won six games by more than 22 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Romulus' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Samaira Searcy, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds. Karma Jones-Johnson was another key contributor, dropping a triple-double on ten points, 11 assists, and ten steals.

Romulus' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Garden City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Romulus will head out on the road to face off against Melvindale at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. As for Garden City, they will be playing at home against Milan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
