Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Ascension). Everything went their way against the St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers on Saturday as East Ascension made off with a 19-6 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.
Mckenzie Creel made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run and five RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cayden Tullier, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and four RBI.
