Garrett Memorial Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Trinity Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Everything went Trinity Christian's way against Garrett Memorial Christian in their previous meeting on March 6th, as Trinity Christian made off with an 18-3 win.
