Baseball Recap: Solorio Takes a Loss

Solorio lost against Palatine back in May of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sun Warriors fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 6-4.

Keiber Hernandez was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He also put up two doubles, which were his first of the season. Sebastian Davila-Adames was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Solorio's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Palatine, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Solorio didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-0 loss against Taft on the 31st. As for Palatine, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-1 victory against Prairie Ridge on the 1st.
