With a playoff win on the line, Gulf Breeze rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the St. Augustine Yellow Jackets 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Dolphins sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Spencer Smtih paced Gulf Breeze's offense, picking up 13 kills. Smtih got some help from Nathaniel Arnold and his 16 assists. Arnold and Smtih didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.
Gulf Breeze's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for St. Augustine, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-10.
Gulf Breeze has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Nease on the 13th. St. Augustine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
