West Aurora lost against Benet Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Blackhawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redwings. The Blackhawks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

West Aurora's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Benet Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-2.

Coincidentally, West Aurora and Benet Academy will both be playing Wheaton-Warrenville South the next time they take the court. The Blackhawks will head out to face the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Redwings will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
