Soccer Game Preview: Bryan vs. Copperas Cove

Bryan is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. They will head out on the road to take on the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs at 7:00 p.m.

Bryan will head out to face Copperas Cove after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. The Vikings fell just short of Steele by a score of 2-1.

Bryan's goal came courtesy of Camryn Lightsey, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Copperas Cove). They blew past Killeen 6-0 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Copperas Cove with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Copperas Cove and bumps their season record up to 4-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for Bryan, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.
