Volleyball Recap: Celina Extends Winning Streak to Four

Celina had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sanger Indians. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Celina never let Sanger on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-7, 25-23.

McKynna Stephens paced Celina's offense, picking up 12 kills. Stephens got some help from Alex Farrow and her 19 assists. Farrow also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Taylor Garibaldi, each putting up three.

Celina's win bumped their record up to 16-23. As for Sanger, they dropped their record down to 22-17 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Celina has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Richland on the 17th. As for Sanger, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Gainesville on the 17th.
