Basketball Recap: Trinity-Pawling School's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Trinity-Pawling School can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 67-60 victory over the Frederick Gunn Highlanders. The Pride's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Despite the loss, Frederick Gunn still got an impressive performance from Kas Mirza, who went 8 for 16 en route to 20 points. Harrison Muntner was another key player, going 5 of 9 on his way to 14 points in addition to five rebounds and three blocks.

Frederick Gunn's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Trinity-Pawling School will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Avon Old Farms at 3:30 p.m. on January 29th. Frederick Gunn has already played their next game, a 79-25 win against Forman on the 18th.
