Soccer Game Preview: University School vs. Volunteer

The University School Buccaneers will face off against the Volunteer Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. University School will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

University School is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Cherokee get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for University School, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Volunteer narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Claiborne 1-0.

Volunteer's win bumped their record up to 3-6-1. As for University School, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1-1.

Everything went University School's way against Volunteer in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as University School made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Buccaneers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
