Volleyball Recap: Millennium Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with O'connor

Millennium faced O'Connor in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since March 18th.

While Millennium ultimately came up short, they really made O'Connor work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 30-28, 25-14.

DJ White paced Millennium's offense, picking up 12 kills. White got some help from Lucas Chavez and his 12 assists.

Millennium's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for O'Connor, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Millennium will venture away from home to square off against Apollo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for O'Connor, they will head out to face off against Basha at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
