Volleyball Game Preview: Panorama Pythons vs. Van Nuys Wolves

Panorama hasn't had much luck against Van Nuys recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Pythons will host the Wolves at 4:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Last Wednesday, Panorama beat Reseda 3-1.

Panorama got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 31-33, 25-18, 25-18.

Van Nuys hadn't beaten Sylmar on the road since June 5, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Wolves won by a set and slipped past the Spartans 3-2.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Van Nuys who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-23, 20-25, 25-20, 20-25, 15-11.

Panorama's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Van Nuys, their victory bumped their record up to 14-5.
