Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lincoln lost against Leon back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.

Lincoln started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-16, 25-13, 25-15.

Kinsley Platt paced Lincoln's offense, picking up ten kills. Platt got some help from Savannah Weiss and her 22 assists. Mackenzie Poppell controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Leon, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.

Coincidentally, Lincoln and Leon will both be playing Maclay the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Marauders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Trojans will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
