Football Game Preview: Jensen Beach Falcons vs. Wellington Wolverines

The Jensen Beach Falcons will challenge the Wellington Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Jensen Beach's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Okeechobee 33-0. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Brahmans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

A big part of Jensen Beach's win came down to the chemistry between Paige Bressman and her top target Ashlyn Otton. Bressman threw for 206 yards and five touchdowns while Otton picked up 93 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance gave Otton a new career-high in receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Wellington put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 28-4 margin over Somerset Academy - Canyons.

Wellington pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29 points. As for Jensen Beach, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
