Basketball Recap: Puckett Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mississippi School for the Deaf last Monday, Puckett came back down to earth. The Puckett Wolves fell to the Raleigh Lions 65-61. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Puckett now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Raleigh, they moved to 1-12 with that win, which also ended their 33-game losing streak.

Puckett will be taking part in a tournament against Hamilton at 11:00 a.m. on December 27th. Raleigh and Murrah will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on December 27th.
