Baseball Recap: Del Sol Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sunrise Mountain last Thursday, Del Sol came back down to earth. The Dragons came up short against the Silverado Skyhawks on Tuesday, falling 11-1. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Skyhawks recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Del Sol saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ice Catapang, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Del Sol's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Silverado, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Del Sol will take on Sierra Vista at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Silverado, they will square off against Legacy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
