Volleyball Recap: Zimmerman Takes a Loss

Zimmerman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Monticello Magic. The Thunder were not able to make up for their defeat to the Magic from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Zimmerman took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-23.

Zimmerman's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Monticello, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-6.

Looking ahead, Zimmerman will challenge Big Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Hornets have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Monticello, they will take on Rocori at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
