Zach Wells put up the most passing yards he's had since back in October of 2024 on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, throwing for 303 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.6 yards per attempt. His passing game has become a key predictor of Birdville's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-3 otherwise.
