South Suburban - Blue recap October 29, 2013

Bremen extended the longest winning streak in South Suburban - Blue this week by beating Oak Lawn, 35-15. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Braves.

Bremen's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyler Banovich threw for 243 and 2 touchdowns and Ron Sims had 67 yards receiving. On the ground Josh Jones chipped in 43 yards. Louis Johnson helped Bremen's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 57 yards.

He went 16-26 with 1 interception.

Sims was the best wideout in the league this week as Dan Stell's team defeated the Spartans. Sims tallied 3 receptions for 67 yards. Johnson helped Bremen's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 57 yards.

Bremen's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Braves feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Banovich has thrown for 1,411 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Sims has 22 catches for 402 yards.

Oak Forest led the league in scoring this week by notching 55 points on Thornton Fractional North.
