Mica Mountain won the last time they faced Sahuaro and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Thunderbolts were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over the Cougars. Considering the Thunderbolts have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Shaylee Fuell was incredible, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Violet Suarez, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Mica Mountain always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sahuaro only posted an OBP of .071.

The win made it two in a row for Mica Mountain and bumps their season record up to 17-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Sahuaro, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Mica Mountain has already played their next game, a 5-2 win against Arcadia on the 25th. As for Sahuaro, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-3 loss against Sabino on the 25th.
