Baseball Recap: The Webb School Drops Highest Score of Season Against Franklin Road Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask The Webb School). They put the hurt on the Franklin Road Academy Panthers with a sharp 16-7 win on Friday. The Feet haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Owen Fogle was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Drew Baker was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

The Webb School always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The Webb School's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Franklin Road Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. The Webb School is set to take on their familiar foe University School of Nashville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Franklin Road Academy will square off against rival Middle Tennessee Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
