Basketball Recap: Logan Starts Season with Loss at Home

Logan unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a hard 63-44 fall against the Box Elder Bees on Wednesday. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bees apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Several Grizzlies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Max Clayton, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Spach, who put up five points.

Looking ahead, Logan is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Mountain Crest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Box Elder, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bear River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
