Basketball Recap: Haldane Comes Up Short

Haldane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were outmatched by the Dobbs Ferry Eagles and fell 64-27. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 605th, while the Eagles are ranked 202nd).

Haldane's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Dobbs Ferry, their victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Haldane won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Keio Academy of N.Y. at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dobbs Ferry, they will take on Greeley at 4:30 p.m. on February 11th.
