In Saturday's Canine Competition, Madison prevailed. They came out on top against the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Bulldogs were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Huskies, so the Bulldogs were just returning the favor.

Madison not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Elk Point-Jefferson between 16 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16.

Jaya Engels paced Madison's offense, picking up ten kills. Engels got some help from Karley Theede C and her 25 assists. Ella Malone controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Madison's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Elk Point-Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 11-14.

Madison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Vermillion on the 18th. As for Elk Point-Jefferson, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Dakota Valley on the 18th.
