Basketball Game Recap: Hawley vs. Breckenridge

If the Breckenridge Cowboys were expecting to get some payback for the 47-45 loss against the Hawley Nuggets when they previously met last month, then they were left disappointed. Breckenridge came up short against Hawley on Tuesday, falling 64-56.

The Cowboys' defeat pushed them down to 14-11. Hawley's victory brought them up to 18-5.

The Cowboys will square off against Crookston Friday. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 32 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close contest. Hawley has the luxury of staying at home another game and will welcome Barnesville Friday. Unlike Hawley, Barnesville will be limping in after taking a loss.
