Volleyball Recap: Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against San Elizario

Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the San Elizario Eagles on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21, 25-15.

Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Andress at 6:30 p.m. on September 9. As for San Elizario, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Chaparral at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday.
