Basketball Recap: Blair County Christian Piles Up the Points Against Centre County Christian Academy

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Blair County Christian brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They really took it to Centre County Christian Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-31 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Leading Blair County Christian to victory were Jonathan Marucci and Caleb Hileman. Marucci went 9 of 19 en route to 20 points and four steals, while Hileman posted 14 points and three steals. Those 14 points gave Hileman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aidyn Lundy, who scored seven points along with nine boards and three steals.

Blair County Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Blair County Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Centre County Christian Academy, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
