Volleyball Recap: Madison Country Day Takes a Loss

Madison Country Day saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Green Lake/Princeton Tigersharks by a score of 2-1. While Madison Country Day didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Green Lake/Princeton 25-17 in the first set.

Madison Country Day was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Green Lake/Princeton work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 17-25, 26-24, 15-8.

Eve Jenkinson was the offensive standout of the contest as she had six digs and three aces.

Madison Country Day's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Green Lake/Princeton, their victory ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-17.

Madison Country Day wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Wayland Academy on the 11th. As for Green Lake/Princeton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Hustisford on the 11th.
