Basketball Recap: Vail Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Vail Christian lost against Crested Butte back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Saints fell 31-22 to the Titans.

Crested Butte had a senior duo take command as Molly Grace Miller posted 13 points and Rio Crabtree scored 12 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Miller has scored at least a third of the Titans' points.

Vail Christian now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Crested Butte, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Vail Christian and Vail Mountain will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2026. The contest will give the Saints their first taste of in-conference action this season. Crested Butte and Ouray will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Titans are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
