Basketball Game Preview: Evergreen Park Mustangs vs. Hinsdale South Hornets

The Evergreen Park Mustangs will square off against the Hinsdale South Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Evergreen Park's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten games.

Last Thursday, Evergreen Park earned a 63-55 win over Richards. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Hinsdale South was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 44-40 to Saint Viator. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 413th, while the Lions are ranked 93rd).

Hinsdale South has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which is still a better percentage than their 6-19 record this season. As for Evergreen Park, their win bumped their record up to 11-15.
