Volleyball Recap: Silverdale Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Silverdale Academy and Middle Tennessee Christian squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Silverdale Academy had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Cougars. The Seahawks haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Despite the loss, Silverdale Academy still got an impressive performance from Emily Givens, who had 17 digs and five aces. Givens is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Silverdale Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 29-9. As for Middle Tennessee Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Silverdale Academy nor Middle Tennessee Christian have any future games scheduled.
