El Dorado Christian takes loss despite strong efforts from McKenzie Cole and Breann Reasoner

Recap: El Dorado Christian Buffalos vs. Heartland Mustangs
The El Dorado Christian Buffalos lost against the Heartland Mustangs back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. El Dorado Christian took a 37-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Heartland. El Dorado Christian has struggled against Heartland recently, as their match on Thursday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Breann Reasoner and McKenzie Cole certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Reasoner dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds, while Cole scored seven points along with ten rebounds and five assists. Reasoner also posted two blocks for the first time this season.
El Dorado Christian now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Heartland, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.
El Dorado Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Non Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on January 19th. As for Heartland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Plaza Heights Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
