While Galena's win against McQueen wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Grizzlies skirted past the Lancers 2-1. The victory was nothing new for Galena as they're now sitting on three straight.

Ava Bough and Blake Hartley scored both of Galena's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Galena's win bumped their record up to 5-1-1. As for McQueen, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Galena and McQueen will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Grizzlies are set to face off against their familiar foe Douglas at 10:45 a.m. on the 13th. Meanwhile, McQueen will challenge rival Spanish Springs at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
