Carter Shears, Prairie's leader in stolen bases on the season, led the team again on Tuesday. Shears was unstoppable, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Prairie's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 0-4 when he doesn't).

Shears' strong effort led Prairie over Nezperce and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
