Ramona Convent got a massive performance out of Aiden Velazquez, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases Velazquez has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Abigail Vazquez, who went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Meanwhile, Polytechnic waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Lancers by a score of 11-6.
Amelia Shih spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on 11 hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Eila Chan was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Asperger, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
The win made it two in a row for Ramona Convent and bumps their season record up to 18-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Polytechnic, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.
Ramona Convent came out on top in a nail-biter against Polytechnic in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, sneaking past 12-11. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
