The Southeastern Christian Academy Warriors suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 50-20 loss at the hands of Dillon Christian. While losing is never fun, Southeastern Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 525th in North Carolina, while Dillon Christian is ranked 255th in South Carolina).
Ryleigh St.George was Southeastern Christian Academy's leading scorer, having posted seven points.
My'angel Evans held things down on the boards with six rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Southeastern Christian Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Dillon Christian, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southeastern Christian Academy will take on Liberty Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty Christian Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Dillon Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Lake View at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lake View will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
