Soccer Recap: East Henderson Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact East Henderson can now relate to. They fell just short of the Burns Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, East Henderson couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Bryan Chavez, who's now up to 14 this season.

East Henderson's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Burns, their win bumped their record up to 15-4-3.

East Henderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Burns, they will venture away from home to take on Newton-Conover at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Newton-Conover will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Burns surely won't give up without a fight.
