Basketball Recap: Denbigh Takes a Loss

Denbigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They were dealt a 53-18 loss at the hands of the Bethel Bruins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-11 back in January.

Denbigh's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Bethel, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11.

Looking ahead, Denbigh will head out to challenge Kecoughtan at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Denbigh is facing Kecoughtan at the right time seeing as Kecoughtan is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bethel, they will welcome Heritage at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Heritage will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bethel surely won't give up without a fight.
