Nevada put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They secured a 53-49 W over the Joplin Eagles. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Nevada's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Joplin, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Nevada will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Butler at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Joplin, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Joplin Eagles duke it out with the Glendale Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Glendale knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Joplin likes a good challenge.
